Laansu Incorporated
Laansu was founded in 2011 in Sterling, Virginia with the purpose of providing customers innovative solutions to solve their needs. At Laansu we understand that every customer is unique and so are the challenges they face. Today’s competitive marketplace requires companies to leverage IT infrastructure to maximize the value of their services to clients . That is why we believe in providing custom technology-based solutions to make each of our customers successful.
Laansu enjoys its heritage of being a small, close-knit company. Today we are continuing to expand because employees have taken pride in being part of our mutual growth. Our Leadership
LAVANYA YANDURU | CEO & PRESIDENT
Lavanya Yanduru, is the founder and president of Laansu, a professional services company specialized in providing IT services. With over 16 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the Federal Government, Lavanya is an instrumental asset to the company, providing leadership and mentorship to her customers and employees.
Lavanya has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry in different roles and across continents. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification from PMI in addition to PMI-ACP and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications. She is also well-versed in CMMI, ISO 9001 practices, and Agile methodology. Over the years, Lavanya has modernized, automated, developed, and maintained multiple programs for the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Volpe Center. She facilitates and leads collaborations with customers, providing them with personalized, innovative, and cost-effective solutions to solve their tough challenges.
Lavanya earned her undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, India, which provided her with the tools required to enhance her creativity and problem-solving skills. Shortly after graduating, Lavanya launched her career as a developer. After four years of remarkable growth, Lavanya started her new role as a program manager in a professional services firm focused on serving the federal community. In this position, she assumed innumerable responsibilities in applications for the Department of Transportation's (DOT) National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), demonstrating outstanding leadership and development skills and receiving appreciation from clients as well as co-workers.
In 2011, after 9 years as program manager, Lavanya saw an opportunity to create her own company using her leadership and expertise to work alongside customers to overcome their tough challenges by providing new and improved methods to assess their IT needs.
A women-owned company whose dedication and commitment to its customers contributed to its rapid growth, achieving almost 100% growth in two years. Laansu thrives on its strong relationship with its customers and employees, helping them discover their full potential. Today, Laansu is recognized across the federal community as an outstanding agency that pursues customized, efficient, and cost-effective software solutions that automate the clients' manual processes to help them achieve their goals in a timely matter.
